Baugh and Weedon introduces Danatronic’s MTG-99
The MTG-99 is designed for the thickness measurement of non-ferrous materials.
Baugh & Weedon Ltd is pleased to now be able to offer Danatronic’s MTG-99, magnetic thickness gauge, to the UK inspection market. Simple to use, the MTG-99 non-destructively measures the thickness of any non-ferrous material up to 2.5cms thick, with access to both sides.
Typical applications include plastic bottles, toys, containers, tubing, titanium, aluminium and copper tubes and pipes as well as composite structures. A broad range of target balls are available to work with different shapes and surfaces that require inspection.
The MTG-99 is portable, battery operated unit, on board alarms that use colour changes and vibrations man that minimum thickness readings are captured easily. With an internal alphanumeric datalogger and the ability to interface with Excel, smooth data capture and reporting can be followed up. Built to meet IP67 the MTG is housed in a rugged case, with many accessories including gauges stands and footswitches, enable adaptability in the field, with a battery life of up to 16 hours.
Currently available on-board languages are include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Czech, Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, Hungarian.
