Visual Inspection

A basic and useful part of the inspection process is visual inspection. A inspector can look for visible signs of damage to a structure  and in a way is the most basic type of Non-destructive Testing (NDT).

However complex shapes, hazardous zones and hard-to-access areas can often make this first “gate” of inspection difficult to carry out reliably.
